The connecting thread

I am interested in the gap between how systems are designed and how they behave in reality.

GAP.
Technology can perform exactly as designed and still behave badly in the environment where it is deployed. Healthcare processes can be formally correct while still being unsafe in practice. Organizations can hold thousands of data points and still fail to see the pattern developing between them.

That gap is where I work.

I work best where an external perspective, domain understanding and systems thinking can expose something that a narrower view misses.
